![]() For AMD they follow the specification to the letter and expect perfect OpenGL programs. In that you can get away with minor errors and NVidia cards will try it anyway, often times not running into any issues. I've heard that NVidia drivers are "more forgiving" than AMD ones. The rest of our program definitely assumes the context has been created so it crashes and quits. The program opens and then immediately closes, which sounds to me like OpenGL failing to successfully create the context. ![]() However, some new Mac Pro users that have AMD cards (specifically, AMD FirePro D500 or D700) are getting a crash. It has worked fine on everyone's Macbooks and iMacs we've tested. We're using GLFW to create our GL context and targeting OpenGL Version 3.3 Core Profile. I've launched a piece of OSX software that uses OpenGL and makes copious use of pixel shaders to create a music visualizer.
